Homemade Lightsabers

I just found your blog when I was searching for how to make a candy bouquet. you have some awesome projects! I would LOVE to know how you made these. My 9 year old boy’s birthday party is a “building things” theme and I know the kids would love to “build’ these!!! Can you send me any directions?

They basically wrapped wax paper into a cone shape and taped it to the top of a flashlight. To make his red, Tim covered the top of the flashlight with tape and colored it with a red marker (before taping on the wax paper cone). Tim was working on some more sturdy designs because the wax paper doesn’t hold up to much “real” sword fighting, but this way was quick, easy, and cheap.
