Our Mini La Jolla Vacation
I have definitely been slacking lately when it comes to posting! I’m going to blame it on being pregnant and only having time for sleeping and being sick. ; ) I haven’t worked on many projects or come up with any new recipes recently, but I will share some pictures of our mini vacation to La Jolla at the beginning of the month…
Tim found a few places to surf, and I found the most comfortable sitting area to watch him and snap some pictures : )
This point has broken boogie boards set up on concrete blocks, and I have never been more comfortable while watching my man out in the water.
The walk out there was slippery and slimy but not a problem…I remember playing with this kind of stuff as a kid…gross.
Tim…trying to decide where to surf next.
There’s always one wide-angle long-arm self-portrait:
We paid a few bucks to walk down this slippery man-made tunnel to see the view looking out of the Sunny Jim cave…
I wouldn’t say that it was one of the most amazing things I’ve seen, but it was neat, and its history was very interesting. The tunnel was created by two laborers in 1902 and has been a tourist attraction ever since. The entrance is through a little store, and I think it’s always fun to walk through dimly lit tunnels, especially when they end in the ocean. : )
And finally, my husband: the giant.
